>> Permanent special session dedicated to Philippe Smets

                                                                                                      

Throughout the three days of Ecsqaru 2007 (From October 31 to November 2) a permanent special session will be dedicated to the memory of Philippe Smets.

Philippe Smets was a founding member of the ECSQARU conferences series. He collaborated with our team for several years and gave his full support to the organization of ECSQARU07 in Tunisia. To his memory, we will organize a permanent special session grouping an overview of his main contributions in Artificial Intelligence field and different souvenirs with him.

In this permanent session, a number of his important and interesting papers will be exposed and copies of these papers will be available. Along with his scientific work, we will present photos and documents related to the souvenirs we have of Philippe.

We ask all members of our scientific community, who knew Philippe, and have some souvenirs to communicate and/or some photos to show to please send them to ECSQARU2007@topnet.tn
